note to self: go outside

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." —  Henry David Thoreau credit My phone died recently. Not like died because of its charge — permanently died. I'm not the only one whom this has happened to, I'm sure, and this isn't a complaint. Rather, it's an observation on how different the landscape of my life has been without it. I've been reading more, watching more TV, doing less doomscrolling. I found that I've missed my phone a lot less and simultaneously a lot more than I expected. And I've been noticing a difference in my mental state. The Fangirl Initiative Is Having a Giveaway!

I feel awful that I haven't posted in so long. But if you want to know why, it's because I kind of have a special baby blog project.

You've heard about it before: The Fangirl Initiative. I started it in December and since then it's grown so much. Today was the relaunch: a new design, a new domain, and a giveaway.

I'm honestly so excited. I wanted to share with my readers because you've been an important part of this as well. (Thank you for putting up with my lack of posting.) Please enjoy this giveaway! You can enter to win a $15 gift card to either Barnes and Noble or Fandango, or your choice of 3 fandom pins.

p.s. not the hugest fan of April Fool's Day, but I got to talk to Spider-man and Thor from YAvengers on Twitter, so that's cool.

  1. I've never heard of the fangirl initiative before. I'll go and check that out! Gonna skip the giveaway though because me and my TBR are still having communication problems (it doesn't listen when I tell it to stop growing.) Thanks for sharing!

Comments make the world go 'round... or was that chocolate?

Thank you for stopping by! I read every single comment and love them all. Seriously, it makes my day. I do my best to comment back!

My only rule is basic respect and honor. Disagreement is accepted, but hate and trolling is not. Otherwise, say what you need to say, and have fun. And don't forget to grab a free complimentary mint on your way out.
